This policy explains the cookies Mantlin uses. A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We keep our use of them to the minimum.

We only use essential cookies

Right now Mantlin uses only essential cookies: the login and session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers your practice while you use the site. Essential cookies are needed to provide the service you have asked for. Under the UK’s cookie rules (PECR), essential cookies like these do not require your consent, so we do not show a consent banner for them.

We do not use advertising cookies today, and if that ever changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first, which is the same commitment our privacy policy makes. We use no third-party analytics cookies either, and we do not track you across other websites.

Usage analytics

We have chosen Cloudflare Web Analytics for counting page views, and it is not switched on. The site only loads it when we set a token for it, and no token is set, so a plain visit loads no analytics at all. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design, so switching it on would still set nothing on your device and would still need no consent banner. We will update this page when it goes on.

If we add non-essential cookies later

We may one day add something that is not essential, such as a different analytics tool. That would be a non-essential cookie and it does require your consent. Before we switch anything like it on, we will:

• introduce a consent banner using a certified Consent Management Platform;
• ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie;
• let you change your choice at any time;
• update this policy to list each non-essential cookie and the third party behind it.

How to control cookies in your browser

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them, and block cookies from some or all sites. If you block the essential login cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.
